The European Commission has initiated an expiry review of the anti-dumping measures on imports of threaded tube or pipe cast fittings, of malleable cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron from China and Thailand. This follows a request by the Ad Hoc Defence Committee of Malleable Cast Iron Pipe Fittings industry of the European Union, submitted on April 25, 2024, under Article 11(2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/1036.

The applicant, representing the Union industry of the specified fittings, claims that if the anti-dumping measures are lifted, dumping and injury to the EU industry would likely continue or recur. An open version of the request and the analysis supporting it are available for inspection.
